2014 Western Division results from our Final's on Sunday, August 17th:

Here are the results from our 2014 Western Division Final's from Sunday, August 17th:

Ladies Football: Fog City defeated Clan Na Gael

Junior Hurling: St. Joseph's had their club's first Western Division Championship Final win after they defeated Naomh Padraig on a Final Score of St Joseph's 5.14 to Naomh Padraig 3.15.

Intermediate Football: Sean Treacy defeated Sons of Boru\Celts in a very competitive match. Final score Sean Treacys 2.08 to Boru/Celts 0.10.

Junior Football: Eire Og defeated Michael Cusacks and were our second club of the day to have their club's first Western Division Championship Final win. In one of the most competitive Junior Football finals we have seen in a few years, and which had to go into Extra Time in order to find a winner. The young Peninsula team just did enough, final score Eire Og 1.13 to Michael Cusacks 1.11.

Senior Football: In our headline match of the day where prior to the throw in, we had a great game parade with local pipers, youth players and flag carriers. Ulster were to prove too strong in this great rival match up where we saw a Final Score of Ulster 3.10 to Sean Treacy's 1.10.

The Western Divisional Board would like to thank all our clubs, sponsors, supporters, and members of the Youth League on making our finals a great event and we hope you enjoyed our games.

We wish our Divisional teams the very best in Boston over Labor Weekend as they compete in the National Championships; Senior Grade: Naomh Padraig - Hurling, Ulster & Fog City Harps - Football, Intermediate Grade: Clan Na Gael - Football, and Junior Grade; St Joseph's - Hurling, Sons of Boru/Celts & Eire Og - Football & SF Shamrocks.- Camoige.
