2016 USGAA
Finals Seattle.
This was one of our largest travel teams in a number of
years, boosted by the fact that our neighbors Seattle GAA were our hosts. In
total we had 10 teams representing SFGAA of which 7 teams reached their
respective Grade Final and 6 SFGAA teams won National titles. Congratulations to
all and we look forward to hosting the 2017 USGAA Finals.
Junior C Football National Champions: Eire Og GFC - defeated
San Diego.
Junior B Football National Champions: Ulster B GFC -
defeated San Diego.
Junior A Football National Championship: Young Irelanders/St.
Brendan’s were defeated in their first round game by the eventual grade winners
Chicago Patriots.
Intermediate Football National Champions - Sons of
Boru/Celts GFC - defeated Vancouver.
Senior Football National Champions: Ulster GFC –– defeated
Vancouver.
Junior B Hurling National Championship: St. Joseph’s GHC -
were defeated by San Diego in the final by one point.
Senior National Hurling Champions: Naomh Padraig GHC - defeated
Vancouver.
Junior B Ladies Football Championship: Clan Na Gael LGFC - were
defeated by Dallas in their first round game.
Junior A Ladies Football Championship: Fog City Harps LGFC
were defeated in their first round game by eventual grade winners St. Brigid’s.
Senior Ladies Football Champions: Fog City Harps LGFC -
defeated Charlotte.
