Berkeley Tragedy - Further Update

The Western Division Board of the GAA extends its deepest sympathy to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives in last nights tragedy in Berkeley, and our thoughts and prayers are with all those involved in and affected by it.

As a mark of respect, all games scheduled for this coming weekend have been postponed until further notice.

Tragedy in Berkeley

The San Francisco G.A.A. community along with wider Irish Community in the San Francisco region are in shock today as news emerges of the death of 6 visiting Irish students and the serious injury to 7 more, in a horrific accident overnight in Berkeley. We offer our prayers and sympathy to their families and friends at this time. 

The Irish Consul, Philip Grant and Vice Consul Kevin Byrne are working to help with the situation.
